Neiman Marcus: Showering Itself with Negative Publicity

Despite numerous letters and phone calls from COK and other humane organizations asking for dialog with Neiman Marcus about its pro-fur policy, the company still refuses to even discuss the issue. This has left animal advocates with no choice but to continue to campaign against the company, persistently and publicly pointing out the social irresponsibility of Neiman Marcus.

Two hundred activists sit-in at the D.C. Neimans. |
COK has continued organizing demonstrations (some including several hundred activists), vigils, leafleting efforts, managing the campaign website at www.NeimansKills.com, as well as sending out postcards to more than 10,000 target Neimans customers in the D.C.-area.
What Can You Do?
Neiman Marcus must hear from the public how much we oppose its support of the fur industry. As a trendsetter in the fashion world, Neimans has an obligation to maintain a decent standard of business ethics, which, at the very least, includes not selling fur. Tell Neiman Marcus that even multibillion-dollar corporations should be held accountable for the suffering and misery they cause and request that they stop selling fur!
